Reza (Gholamreza ) Khoshnevis attended Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, where he completed his medical school education at the top of his graduating class .He subsequently joined Baylor College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and was elected as resident member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society . He then pursued fellowships in cardiology, interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Baylor College/ St Lukes Episcopal Hospital/ Texas Heart Institute, becoming one of the few physicians to be boarded in both cardiology subspecialties. Throughout his career, Reza has demonstrated a deep commitment to patient care and has utilized the latest advancements in cardiology to provide comprehensive treatment for his patients. He is highly respected by his patients for the personalized care he provides. His colleagues often seek his expert advice and collaboration in patient care. He has been very active in training medical residents and cardiology fellows and has won numerous teaching awards for excellence in educating new generations of physicians and cardiologists.

He completed his medical education at Gandhi Medical College and then went on to pursue his residency in internal medicine at NYU Downtown Hospital. Here he was elected as the best resident in his class and also worked as chief resident. After working as a hospitalist for seven years, including four years at the renowned Cleveland Clinic, Raghunandan realized his passion for cardiology. He decided to further his expertise by joining the fellowship program in cardiology at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown. To enhance his skills in interventional cardiology, Raghunandan underwent training at New York Methodist Hospital. After that he has been working in Houston Methodist Baytown where he served as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Cath lab and also the Chairman of the Department of cardiology. He was also elected as the Best teacher in the Houston Methodist system for his role in educating cardiology fellows in 2022.Overall, Raghunandan Muppidi’s journey reflects his commitment to medicine and his pursuit of excellence in the field of cardiology.
